Our story
Family owned. Bakersfield operated.
Since 1972, Bakersfield Lighting, Inc. has been locally owned and family operated. Our founder, Raymond Murphy, set out to break from the traditional sign-man role and build a full-service sign and lighting company focused on repair, maintenance and installation. He introduced contract lighting maintenance to Bakersfield: consistent visits that correct outages before they become much larger issues.
We continue that tradition today. With fully stocked trucks, experienced technicians and equipment that reaches 100 feet, our goal is to take care of your lighting and sign needs as quickly and efficiently as possible, right, the first time.
